Skyward is a web-based student information program used in all of our schools. This program keeps track of attendance, grades, classes, and contact methods.

Emergency School Closings FAQ
On days it becomes necessary to close school due to adverse weather conditions, announcements will be made on the following platforms:
FCS App - Download our app, FCSBOE, to be the first to hear about closings.
School Websites - An alert will pop up on our district and school websites in the event of school closures.
Social Media - Check our district or school social media accounts for updates on school closings. FCS Facebook, RAS Facebook, FMS Facebook, FHS Facebook, FCS Twitter, RAS Twitter, FMS Twitter, FHS Twitter
Our Mass Notification System - You will receive an automated call and push notification in the event of school closures. To verify we have your correct contact info, please contact your student's school.
TV News Stations - School closings will be announced on WAFF48, WAAY31, and WHNT Huntsville, and WSMV channel 4, WKRN Channel 2, and CBS channel 5 Nashville
Radio - School closings will be announced on local radio. Please listen for "Fayetteville City Schools". This is not the same as "Lincoln County Schools".
